A Fridge Poem On Consuming

A Fridge Poem On Consuming – you can see what I did there 😉

I wrote this on a friend’s fridge during a party last year. Kind of exemplifies where I don’t fit in to the classic extrovert/introvert paradigm. Yes I want to interect with everyone at the party, and yes I hate small talk and want deep intimate conversation. So basically I try to get real deep real quick with every poor soul in the room. This often results in time to write fridge poems…… #awkwardbeardyguy

Happy World Beard Day! Here’s a little snap of me and my sister celebrating her birthday in Brighton. Excellent day in good company and lots of fun things to photograph. Photo credit Jeni “The Mrs” Larner

“Some wish to live within the sound of Church or Chapel bell; I want to run a Rescue Shop within a yard of hell.”—C. T. Studd

Came across this quote by old time missionary C T Studd this week, think he pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Jesus hung out with the wrong side of town…

“Jesus hung out with he wrong side of town, and that was one of the reasons he was crucified” – Rev Dr John Smith, International President God’s Squad CMC

These words really helped a piece of the puzzle fall into place in my thinking. It’s so simple yet so true! Why is that Christians are known for being so prim and proper when our master was characterised for being a ‘friend of sinners’?

Have a little look at the video below for more about John and God’s Squad:

Tree Cathedral

Tree Cathedral

Took this photo today at Whipsnade Tree Cathedral. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, although I’m biased as I married my soul-mate there just under 6 years ago. If you could transplant some Californian weather here it could just about be the perfect place of worship.
